PRIVACY / UPDATED 4 NOVEMBER 2026

Your link,
in your browser.

The inspector processes the address you enter locally, using your browser’s built-in URL parser.

Text entered into the inspector

The inspector’s code does not send your entered address to a server, open that address, or store it in cookies or browser storage. The text remains in the page while you use it. Your browser may retain page or form state through its own features.

Visiting the website

Loading the site sends normal web requests to the hosting infrastructure. The hosting provider may process connection information such as your IP address, browser details and requested page as part of operating the service. The site’s application code does not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts or sign-up forms.

External references

The field guide links to MDN Web Docs. Following a reference takes you to that website, where its own privacy practices apply. The inspector itself does not follow or fetch links you enter.

Project information

Aanlyn Link Lab is published under the project name Linkfield Studio. See the About page for the site’s purpose and the limits of its tools.
